The Tec 40 flashlight lights up a path up to 108 meters - that's a light beam distance of over 350 feet! This waterproof halogen flashlight is submersible up to 100 meters and weighs only 5.1 ounces with batteries! The Princeton Tec TEC 40 flashlight makes a great dive light - the Tec 40's non-slip rubber grip ensures you'll be able to securely hold the flashlight even if you're diving at 100 meters. The twist-activated switch prevents accidental turn-on but easy operation while wearing your diving gloves. The halogen bulb burns brighter, more efficiently, and for longer periods of time. The bulb needs to be replaced less frequently than xenon or incandescent since filament life is extended. Waterproof Level 3: The highest of Princeton Tec’s waterproof ratings, Level 3 is assigned to lights that offer a degree of water protection equivalent to IPX8 in the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards. Lights rated at Level 3 provide waterproof integrity for continual submersion in water at depths down to 100 meters.
