Ideal at long and short distances, the APEX LED headlamp has 130 lumens of light, 5 regulated white LED's, 5 lighting modes, heat regulation, & a battery power meter.

The Apex is the pinnacle of Princeton Tec waterproof LED headlamp design, boasting up to 130 lumens of output.

The Apex 5 light levels and impact-resistant design which makes it the ideal headlamp for camping, hiking, hunting or any time you need bright light and your hands free.

The Apex combines a regulated Maxbright 3 watt LED with 4 regulated Ultrabright LEDs, for constant brightness on all modes.
Switching lighting modes is easy – the dual switch system allows you to independently control the intense, smooth, long-range lighting from the Maxbright LED and the wide-angle, close-range lighting from the 4 Ultrabright LEDs. Princeton Tec proprietary heatsink technology allows the LEDs to burn brighter and longer.

The APEX LED headlamp offers a multiple light beam pattern:
This beam pattern combines focused narrow beams and focused wide beams to allow for the most versatility. At close range, the focused wide beams simulate normal daylight conditions so you to take advantage of your peripheral vision. The focused narrow beams create a long-throw spotlight ideal for night hiking and search and rescue.

Waterproof rating 2:
Princeton Tec’s intermediate rating, headlamps rated at Level 2 provide waterproof integrity down to 1 meter for up to 30 minutes.

Battery Power Meter:
The battery power meter provides you with continuous feedback on the condition of the batteries, indicating high, medium or low battery life. This information allows you to make educated decisions about changing batteries or packing spare batteries. The Apex headlamp is compatible with alkaline, lithium, and rechargeable batteries - alkaline batteries are included in your purchase.
